The
rustic yet color rich city of Bikaner was founded in 1448 A.D. by the
Rathore prince Bika. The virgin fortified town still preserves the aura of
medieval times, for having remained untouched by the outside influence as
being surrounded by harsh desert. The city, an architecture marvel makes
one gape in awe at the embattled well and ornate gates.
